A new subscription for light users – launching pilot DOCKR Essential
It is all over the news: zero-emission zones. For every entrepreneur it means something different, but one thing is certain: transport in the city centre by car or bus is becoming increasingly difficult. The frustrating thing is, electric transport is not yet affordable for everyone. And we at DOCKR are going to do something about that.
While large companies are fully engaged in the energy transition, we get a lot of questions from small entrepreneurs. The owner of a shop who finds it more difficult to reach his premises. An office manager who has to make an unnecessary detour for office lunch. A retailer who occasionally delivers an order himself within his own town or village.
And that is the crux of the matter: electric delivery is not yet affordable for every entrepreneur. Not everyone can make the investment that is required. The small entrepreneur in particular is affected by this new legislation.
At DOCKR, we like to think along with our customers. We understand that not all businesses have the same transport needs and are therefore launching a pilot: DOCKR Essential. This new pricing model is specially designed for companies that drive less but want to enjoy the benefits of our electric cargo bikes.
Electric transport, even with low milage
The Kettler M is the most popular bike among business owners who travel few kilometres. That is why we have looked at ways to reduce the subscription price for this model in particular. We are currently running a pilot until 30-09-2024 where entrepreneurs can use an electric cargo bike for just 199 euro per month. This subscription is perfect for entrepreneurs who drive less than 1,500 kilometres a year, but need an efficient and sustainable delivery option in the city centre.
Key features of the Essential subscription
Kettler M: The subscription is available for the Kettler M. At 180 litres, the Kettler M is our small powerhouse, making it perfect for the light user. This model is remarkably easy to manoeuvre and you can transport up to 120 kilos with it. With two batteries, you have a range of 100 km.
Flexible subscription: Accessories or no accessories? A short or long contract duration? You have the option to extend your subscription or choose a low monthly fee without any fuss.
Always carefree on the road: Repairs or theft? We come by quickly and fix it. Regular maintenance is also included in your subscription. That way you will always be on the road carefree.
Warranty on a replacement bike: Immediately operational again with a replacement cargo bike? Then choose our swap guarantee for only €9 per month. This gives entrepreneurs the freedom to choose what works best for them.
Step-by-step roll-out
We are launching this new subscription on a pilot basis. This means that for the coming period, a limited number of businesses will be able to use this new subscription. This way, we will get valuable feedback for the further rollout of this new pricing model.
